Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer, also known as the “Milwaukee Cannibal” or the “Milwaukee Monster”, was a notorious American serial killer and sex offender. Born on May 21st, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dahmer murdered and dismembered seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991. His crimes were characterised by necrophilia, cannibalism, and the preservation of body parts.
Despite being diagnosed with several personality disorders, Dahmer was found legally sane and sentenced to life imprisonment for his crimes in Wisconsin. He was later convicted for an additional murder committed in Ohio. On November 28th, 1994, Jeffrey Dahmer was bludgeoned to death by a fellow inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institution in Portage, Wisconsin.
