Today marks the birthday of American politician and diplomat George Herbert Walker Bush, who was born on June 12th, 1924. Bush was the 41st president of the United States and served from 1989 to 1993. During his presidency, he saw the collapse of the Soviet Union and the success of the first Gulf War.
